Little Lake Theatre's new management team announced
TribLIVE: Roxy MtJoy and Bob Rak will succeed Sunny Disney Fitchett and Robert Fitchett as the new management team at Little Lake Theatre.
The Fitchetts announced in September they would be retiring after 22 years of running the North Strabane theater company that Sunny Disney Fitchett's father, Will Disney, founded in 1949.

While it has little, if any, effect on me, I always think it’s interesting when I see postings like these. To the people involved with the company this is a huge step. I know many who could never walk away from something they had put their whole lives into, even if it was their time to passion the baton. That these men are stepping down from roles that their father gave them, and allowing what they had built be managed by a group of “outsiders” (to the original dream not the company that is) is truly noble in my eyes. Not only will this help the aging former owners to focus on their lives and families, but it will also bring a new set of fresh eyes to the company, which might help it to move in a better direction. It is certainly a gamble, this transition of power but there has to be a certain level of trust and understanding I imagine to let ones baby go.
