New Zealand Boasts a Host of Precious Incentives
Variety: New Zealand, known for “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” trilogies, has grown into a major production hub. Studios such as Peter Jackson’s Park Road Post Prod. and vfx house Weta Digital attract projects from around the world. Other lures: generous incentives that include qualifications for above-the-line talent and international travel, extra assistance for films deemed to be of significant economic interest — and stunning natural landscapes.
