Arcade Hosts Pittsburgh's First Sketch Comedy Festival

PMWeekend - January 2015: Laugh off your winter-weather bad mood this weekend at Arcade Comedy Theater’s first sketch comedy festival, Sketchville. Fans of “Saturday Night Live” and “Portlandia” should enjoy the three-night, six-show, BYOB event featuring performances from eight groups.

This seems like a great family event. Something like this would be right up my ally. In Orlando, FL we have this theatre company called SAK which is this amazing improve company that puts on shows almost every night and holds a bunch of workshops for those who are interested. This is the kind of show you would go to if you need a good laugh or just want to take a night off with family and friends. I feel like this event would have the same effect as SAK theatre except it would be in Pittsburgh and is a festival that it's available all year. I'm always in for a good laugh and something to put me in a good mood. Right now that's really hard because of everything we're doing. Everyone seems super busy and stressed out about projects and playground. If only we had more of a break I would probably see if this event was possible. But as of now I'll just wait until I can go home and go the SAK theatre to have a good time.
