I think this article provides an intriguing look into what some consider to be a mysterious world of Cirque Du Soleil. I really think that the Cirque creation process is an interesting one. What I think is an fascinating topic in the article is the subject of transformation of turning a circus tent show into an arena show. I’ve always had mixed emotions about this decision because it feels like it is a money-saving process to keep a show alive that was not doing well in a tent. But, after reading this article it seems like they transform a show to the arena format when it can no longer satisfy the long runs that come with a tent show. What I am curious of is the cost difference between the arena format and tent format and do how many tents is Cirque in possession of? How does this alter which shows are where and when?
