Are You Ready to File Your Taxes?
Backstage: Expenses for actors often exceed the income they receive from performing. In fact, it’s not uncommon for actors to go months or even years without recording a profit from their chosen profession. But when it comes to filing taxes, it’s problematic for performers to notch consecutive years in the red. Or at least it used to be.
