This event sounds amazing. I love listening to different loudspeakers and gauging which one sounds better. This however can get very difficult due to my sometimes obvious bias to L'Acoustics loudspeakers. To go into a room and gauge the sound of the speakers purely based on what I hear rather than what my preconceived notions of what loudspeakers sound best. I like that the groups were required to use the a provided track for the first several rounds so guests are hearing the same thing when listening to the systems. However it is smart to allow the companies to bring their own tracks for the final round. By allowing companies to bring a track that best brings out the sound of their systems. I hope to find out when next year's event is and see if I can make it.
