Singers eager for Kander and Ebb tribute

TribLIVE: Singers get excited at the prospect of performing songs by Kander and Ebb, the creators of the musicals “Chicago” and “Cabaret.”
Composer John Kander and lyricist Fred Ebb, who died in 2004, enjoyed a remarkable 40-year working relationship.
“The way they worked was like finishing each other's sentences,” vocalist Ted Keegan says. “Whether the words came first, or the music, no one knows. It's symbiotic; they wrote so beautifully together”
