I am sad to say that even though I love non-mainstream movies, I have not taken advantage of this film festival in past years. My excuse has always been the CMU workload at this particular time of the semester. I am resolving to see at least one of the festival movies this year. My pick is Open City of Amereida (2013) showing March 28th at the Melwood Screening Room. I am excited that there will be a post-screening Q&A with director Andras Tapia-Urzua.
