Junie B. brings wisdom beyond her years to stage

TribLIVE: Junie B. Jones, quite the first-grade spitfire, relates to kids, says the actress who plays the redhead in a stage show coming to Pittsburgh.
“She's a really cool little kid who's just trying to work her way through ... the first grade, new friends and new experiences,” says Sarah DeKnight, 23, who is originally from Glen Mills, near Philadelphia in Delaware County, and now lives in New York City.

I loved the Junie B. Jones series as an elementary school child. My mom would read them to me as bedtime stories. I'd love to see them as a play, I think it will be a lot of fun for children who grew up with the stories as well as children in elementary school now. The stories are so lively and funny that I think it will be something for people of all ages to see and enjoy.
