I think its awesome that so many CMU people won awards this year! Its a continuing testament to the quality of the school of drama. I also think its very cool how we won for several different departments. Several other drama programs i know of really stand out for one thing, but I think something that makes us stand out is our excellence in such a wide range of disciplines. Also, we won for both current students and recent graduates, undergrads and grads. Again this really shows how the program here is exceptionally well rounded. Congratulations to all the winners!
First off, congrats to the CMU alumni and current students who the young designers and technicians award. This article makes me feel so proud to be part of a school community with such success. This really goes to show that the work we do in the school of drama can be very rewording if you put in the work. I look forward to reading the next article about how much success we have here at cmu!
Its really exciting to see so many CMU Alumni and current students recognized for their artistry and work. The fact that these awards are for several different departments is a testament to how well rounded this program is and how our network extends to all parts of theater and entertainment. I am very proud to say that I go to Carnegie Mellon and I can't wait to see what future USITT award winners our school produces! Congratulations to the winners!
