Festool Put A Chainsaw On A Track And Calls It A Sword
Tool-Rank.com: If you like the idea of the Festool Track Saw, but it just doesn't have a large enough cutting capacity for you, the Festool Universal Sword Saw might be the tool for you. Available in Europe, the Festool Sword is fancy track-chainsaw that has a total cutting capacity of 7-7/8-inch (200mm).

There's no doubt in my mind that there's an application for this somewhere... however I just don't know if it would be so widely demanded that it makes producing this tool even worth it. Maybe people have a need for cutting large pieces of lumber that I just don't know about, but for some reason I just think that there is a simpler, cheaper tool that can be used for this job. That being said, I want one just so I can show off and use it instead of a skill saw.
