Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: “Those Who Kill,” the A&E television series filming in Pittsburgh, needs extras for a Nov. 14 rave scene. Nancy Mosser Casting will handle applications: interested parties should be age 18-30, live in or around the Pittsburgh area and be 100 percent available that day.

Hearing any film or television series filmed in Pittsburgh is always exciting! I think even for this time, it is great for Pittsburgh community because it not only brings liveliness in the town as well as some kind of fun opportunities to earn money for people. If only I had a time and car, I would want to apply for the extras. After reading this article, I looked for some of other films or series filmed in Pittsburgh, and I was surprised to see some scene of the Avengers, the Silence of the Lambs, and Robocop were filmed in Pittsburgh. I always feel great to see Pittsburgh in the film and it turns out to be something that I can proudly talk about to my friends. For example, a lot of my friends did not know Pittsburgh, so whenever I had to explain the city to them, I told them it is the Gotham city from the Dark Knight rises and they would recognize it. I just hope that more films start to film in Pittsburgh because I felt jealous when my friends posted pictures of scenes from Transformer filming in their city. I hope that this TV series turn out to be successful and I can someday spot people filming a movie.
