Ask anyone: horror movies lose their touch with the sound off. I never thought that Halloween would be such a big deal in terms of the sound industry, but it makes sense. The way that this designer arranged his/her setup is genius. In real life, sounds bombard us from all directions. It then makes a ton of sense that in order to achieve maximum scare, that the sound should mimic real life and follow suit. Although the specific speakers escape me, it's clear that the designer spent a lot of time designing the specificity of the sound waves. I find it absolutely amazing that they were able to recreate a spinning motion with solely speakers. That's intense.
