I think what’s most important is that first of all, employers need to understand all ‘kids’ aren't the same. Just because that one twenty-something you know is a bit unreliable and has bad grammar, it doesn't mean that the next will. Luckily, this is a problem that is gaining more recognition, and in attempts to quell the worries of employers, many schools and universities offer lectures and workshops in following these tactics. Making use of these opportunities and being aware of these expectations, Millennials can work to be ahead of their competition and make it known to employers that they are prepared, just as much as an older generation, to be competent and able in any necessary working environment.
