Handibot Portable Hand-Held CNC
Tool-Rank.com: With most CNC routers you have to bring the material to the machine, but the new Handibot CNC Router has you bring the CNC router to your material. Is this going to be the gateway to getting CNC routers on the jobsite?

CNC machines and 3D printers are the new big thing in the engineering and design world now. Why have we never thought of putting a CNC machine with a router! With a machine like this, we could make intricate designs come to real life in a matter of minutes. You could create anything you wanted, since it can cut beyond the size of the robot. Unfortunately though, right now, you have to be a person who knows G&M coding, or some type of CNC software to be able to use this. They are also not sure how exactly the program gets to the robot. While they did say that they would eventually have a list of designs you could choose from, it raises the question of, what if the design you want isn't on the list? It would have also been nice to know what kind of materials it is able to run through. While in the prototype stage right now, they need to tweak a couple of things, but other than that, it would be an awesome tool to have!
Here is a product in the same stage as the portable hand-held CNC machine except it is for 3D printing http://www.the3doodler.com/
