Wait a second...Off-Broadway Premium Seats? REALLY??? I find that nothing short of ridiculous. Broadway is already killing its audiences by hiking the prices so that only that top few % of the population can see more than one Broadway show a year. The only good that has come of it is that people have ventured into lesser-known theatrical territory such as off-broadway, and shows have gained an audience just by being affordable. If Off-Broadway implements an excluding system when it comes to price, it sort of destroys the very foundations of what off-broadway is about: a place where the shows can be a bit edgier, less about the money and more about the experiment, where shows can grow and people can see just about anything under the sun and then some. The entertainment industry can't afford to cut off its audience more, or we risk losing them for good.
