Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark Takes Hiatus
WPIX: "If it weren't for bad luck, it would have no luck at all. The accident-prone Broadway musical 'Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark' will be on hiatus through June in hopes of revamping the show. The creators need the time to overhaul the $65 million production, Broadway's most expensive undertaking to date. Major cast and plot changes are in the offing, reportedly to make the production more 'family-friendly.'

It is great to hear that they are doing a major over hall on the show. When I saw the show just before New Years it needed a lot of work at that point i just wonder where the money is coming from. This show just seems to have money being thrown at it. By the end of this it might be the musical that broke the $100 million mark if it continunes to go this way. I just wonder if the "fixes" that they are doing will do anything and make it better. I somewhat liked the way in which the show looked when i saw it. I thought that it had some real good part in it. It was definitely for older people. I just hope some of that is not lost when they go through this over hall.
