Pittsburgh Ballet celebrates the genius of Balanchine

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Some artists are in a class by themselves — iconic figures such as painter Pablo Picasso, composer Igor Stravinsky and choreographer George Balanchine — but their creations live on in different ways. Picasso's paintings were complete when he laid down his paint brush, ready to be hung on a wall. But in the performing arts, fresh devotion and hard work are needed for legendary creations to remain alive to delight and astonish audiences.
