Les Waters takes on Chekhov's 'Three Sisters'
SFGate: "Les Waters, Berkeley Repertory Theatre's associate artistic director since 2003, is best known for his work with new plays and playwrights. An Englishman, he got his start at London's Royal Court Theatre introducing works by such notables as Wallace Shawn and Caryl Churchill. He first came to Berkeley with his justly acclaimed world premiere of Charles Mee's 'Big Love.' His success with Sarah Ruhl's 'Eurydice' led to both of their Broadway debuts in 2009 with her 'In the Next Room (or the Vibrator Play).'
