Curtain rises on costumes

timescolonist: "Tucked above Victoria's historic Langham Court Theatre is a loft stuffed with history in costumes. Aisles organized by period range from Edwardian gowns to 1960s mod frocks and war uniforms to papal robes. Hats hang in line along the ceiling and countless drawers hold badges, jewelry and adornments. The costume loft is an archive of the theatre's nearly 100-year history in plays and of history in general. The dirt-cheap rental costs keep it popular among everyone from school kids and party-goers to other theatre companies, big and small.
