Tartan Terrors bringing light-hearted song, dance to Palace

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "The Tartan Terrors isn't a band of rowdy Scots in kilts as their name might suggest.
The Canadian troupe of singers and dancers, which Westmoreland Cultural Trust brings to the Palace Theatre for one performance Thursday night, is more like a Celtic variety show, according to Ellen Wilkes Irmisch, of Burlington, Ontario, who co-directs the show with her brother, Ian Wilkes Irmisch.
'We all are trained in multiple skills, so you get a full package,' she says. 'We used to say we're Riverdance meets 'Saturday Night Live.' '
