Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp is currently seeking qualified candidates for a unique summer position in Event Production. As you may know, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp is a non-profit summer school of the arts serving more than 5,400 gifted elementary, junior high and high school students each season. We offer nearly 200 performances - large and small - to camper and public audiences over a nine week period.

The Assistant Site and Production Manager opportunities include:

• Assisting with technical and production needs for Opera, Theater, and Dance Departments
• Providing technical support for Blue Lake’s 750-seat proscenium theater, 700-seat Elizabethan theater, 4000-seat outdoor amphitheater, 400-seat recital hall, and many other smaller venues
• Working with and learning from professional faculty
• Coordinating a small crew of technical staff

Duties include working with Blue Lake’s Site and Production Manager to coordinate audio, visual, and lighting needs for multiple venues, rehearsals, and events, assisting with technical demands for Opera production, and maintaining various facilities together with Production Staff and Site Custodians.

Qualified candidates will have experience in theater or auditorium event production, such as lighting, audio, video, sets, and working with a variety of musical/artistic ensembles. June 9 - August 22, salary up to $5,000 (based on experience) plus room, board, and extensive experienced-based opportunities.
