It seems like David and USITT are doing great things for its members. I have the opportunity to take part in a training weekend that David has put together in conjunction with companies like Cirque du Soleil and Meyer Sound. These types of connections that are being made through USITT could prove to be very useful, especially for USITT's student members. I know that the conference was also a great way for students to learn and meet people in the industry. I like that David pointed out that he needs to hear from the members in order to serve us better. I wish I would have gone to the forum meetings during the conference so that I could do this. I am glad that USITT is so focused on the needs and wants of it members, and I hope that we all find more ways to work with them in the future.
