To me the most interesting part of the top 5 this week is the link to afrigadget.com - there's a lot of very interesting solutions to problems on there, some look like they'd be worth of appearing on thereifixedit, others are truly remarkable ways of solving a problem using very limited resources but still getting it done. The example they use of using a bolt through a board to open a bottle seems odd to those of us who are used to having a purpose-made opener on hand, but if you don't always have one then you either make something to do it or you go thirsty.
