Foote’s Lone Star Lovers Meet, Marry in ‘Orphans’
Bloomberg.com: "The middle-part of “The Orphans’ Home Cycle,” written by Horton Foote and based on his father’s life, is now on view at Signature Theatre’s Peter Norton Space. The three acts follow Texan Horace Robedaux from 1912 to 1917, from being too young and poor to marry the widow Claire to his happy marriage to Elizabeth Vaughn, now pregnant with their first child."
