A case made for late curtains ... and a question of service
The Theater Loop: "On this blog, I typically focus on which shows I think you should go and see. But the chaos at the opening of “South Pacific” at the Rosemont Theatre last week was a reminder that where and how you see a show can be just as important as the show itself."

Who is really to blame for the chaos of seating all of the latecomers? Was it the venue for not having a parking system that can handle a large number of people arriving at once or is it the touring company that refused to hold the curtain even though the venue asked them to? Perhaps it's the patrons themselves who didn't allow enough time to park and get inside? Whoever is to blame, assigning it doesn't really solve the problem, it just gives you someone upon which to take out your frustrations, but maybe that's what's really needed anyway?
