Prime Stage Theatre brings 'Our Town' to life

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "The beauty of the classic play 'Our Town' by Thornton Wilder is its simplicity and its universal message about the human experience, say the directors of the play that will show for the next two weeks at the North Side's New Hazlett Theater."

I like the fact that this is more geared towards kids. However, I think that by casting it that way, some of the older population might not connect as freely. i guess that's the trade-off..

The way that the play is being produced, it may be one of those events that spark something in a young child. Therefore, it would seem like this production is at the better end of the trade-off by choosing to produce it for little kids and thus starting at the base of the meaning: "It's how do kids deal with situations ... told what's important,"
