'A Chorus Line' still has some kick
Post Gazette: "Ask dancers how they fell in love with musical theater, and it's no surprise to hear, 'The first time I saw 'A Chorus Line' ...' Seeing a production countless times can put you in mind of a first love, now long in the past but still a sweet spot on the mind: The thrill of immediacy is gone, but there are moments to savor, universal themes that come rushing back. And in the case of 'A Chorus Line,' some that have gained resonance in the 34-year-old life of the musical."
