The Stage: "Arts producer Crying Out Loud has launched the inaugural City Circ season, a new five-month showcase of contemporary circus designed to raise the profile of the art form in London."
I think it is great to see circus being incorporated with theatre and and dance. I had the chance to work for a few days with a circus group in Colombia and it was a very fulfilling experience. The best part about it was the people who I worked with, all of whom seemed to have great amounts of experience in a myriad of disciplines. I find that when different art forms combine they seem to attract a great number of people with a verity of different talents and experience in different areas which make just being part the group an incredibly enriching experience.
