What an amazing life Gene Kelly lived. I had no idea he was from Pittsburgh. It's really cool that some of his famous songs, like "Singing in the Rain" will be included in this concert. Maybe if I have time I will go see this concert, because it seems really interesting.
Gene Kelly was from Pittsburgh? I had no idea and frankly am so impressed. I love the idea of honoring him in his own city, as he deserves. Also, from a more financial standpoint I'm sure this would draw in people not just from Pittsburgh, but from other cities in droves. This would be great in terms of tcket prices but also in terms of the local economy, namely for hotels and restaurants.
