Prop 8: The Musical Wins GLAAD Media Award
Playbill News: "Prop 8—The Musical, the music video satirizing Prop 8 — the California ballot proposition that amended the state Constitution to restrict the definition of marriage to a union between a man and a woman — received a Special Recognition Award at the 20th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, which were held in Los Angeles April 19."

I'm glad to see this short film gain recognition in the field - albeit by those whom it was supporting. I found the irony and satire hilarious - and thought it was presented in the perfect fashion. I'd really like to see this be the 'jumping off point' if you will - and have both the message and the humor of this film be shown to people on a global scale. Prop 8 is really quite disgusting. It makes me sick.
