Cirque on the Palm by 2012
business24-7.ae: "Nakheel's plans for a permanent Cirque du Soleil show on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah will go ahead despite the current global economic crisis, the group confirmed yesterday. Although initially set for the first quarter of 2010, the Montreal-based entertainment organisation is now scheduled to reside in Dubai in 2012."

I think that is it important that a show is toughing it out. It will raise the general moral and well, it looks good that they are trying.
I agree that this will be beneficial in improving moral, and I'm glad that Cirque decided to go through with it. I'm also glad to hear that Cirque is going to have a new permanent show.
It is very comforting to hear that companies are still willing to go ahead with project. Knowing that a show which os so expensive is willing to take a risk shows that there is hope that things will continue to progress even during tough economic times.
