Post Gazette: "To meet Jane Fonda these days means first getting past her 8-pound fluffy gatekeeper. Tulea, a white Bichon-like dog, is never very far from her 71-year-old mistress -- part confidante, part wiggly joy, part security blanket."
I think its nice that Jane Fonda is going back to Broadway. However, i find the whole dog thing weird, and detracting from the article's main point, that this is exciting step and oh, btw, she's back on broadway. Saying that her dog escaped the handler, or that it was backstage at all should, in my opinion, be a totally different article. An amusing one at that.
The dog thing is so funny and really isn't the main point of the article. It's exciting Jane Fonda is on Broadway and it must have been fun for the audience to see her dog. Too bad for the handler who let the dog go, at least the dog didn't go crazy on stage.
