Ticketmaster Sued in Canada for Scalping Tickets to Shows
Bloomberg.com: Canada: "Ticketmaster Entertainment Inc., the biggest ticketing company in the world, was sued in Canada for selling popular tickets at inflated prices, in violation of provincial laws."

This is a really upsetting story. That's just one more thing our industry doesn't need, bad publicity. It's already difficult enough to get people to come to the theatre or see arts performances, never mind thinking they are getting ripped off. Ticket prices are already expensive enough as it is, I just don't understand why companies like TicketMaster feel the need to upcharge the consumer.
