Majors kick off talks with IATSE
Variety: "With SAG waiting in the wings to start its contract talks, the majors will begin three days of negotiations today with the Intl. Alliance of Theatrical & Stage Employees."

Well, hopefully these talks will go better than the last ones. It sounds like they may have learned their lesson and started talks before any deadlines draw near. The last thing the we need now is more union houses going dark.
