Fierstein Recasts `Catered Affair' in His Own Image
Bloomberg.com: Muse Arts: "``A Catered Affair'' has been redrafted by Harvey Fierstein from Paddy Chayefsky's original story and Gore Vidal's 1956 screenplay. The moody film starred Bette Davis, Ernest Borgnine, Debbie Reynolds and Barry Fitzgerald. The equally moody Broadway show, with music and lyrics by John Bucchino, stars Fierstein and two other Broadway stars, Faith Prince and Tom Wopat."
