Do It the Hard Way

denorae: "People interact with each other in many different ways. You can be friends, lovers, coworkers, or some combination. I'm not going to talk about family relations, or the interaction between two strangers who meet randomly once and then continue on their way. Mostly what I'm going to talk about is the interaction between men and women, in a professional environment."

This was an interesting article to see from a man's point of view. Although a little hard to follow in respect to the format, the ideas presented in it were clear. I think it is true that everyone needs to be careful in respect to flirtation in the workplace. It is such an easy way to break the ice, but he is right in his observations that this does not gain a woman the respect she needs. However, I think most people would have trouble coming up with a method of breaking the ice that made for both an easy transition as well as a respect booster for the females in the office.

Hi khumbert,
Good comments, but you should try to verify the gender of the author before assuming it was written by a man :) I realize it may not be completely clear that it was written by a woman, but then, that's kind of the point.

Thanks for reading,
