Priority Planning Model and Worksheet
Ian's Messy Desk: "When managing multiple projects or actions, you need to know which are the most important (not necessarily urgent) and work on them first. The attached Priority Planning Worksheet can help you evaluate your priorities according to which is most important and most urgent."

This seems like it would be a relatively effective idea, but what about the ability to knock out a bunch of little tasks in a short period of time? I feel that the chart would probably return results where more involved projects might rank ower on the list due to their importance, leaving the little simple things to the end where they might get dropped or not have the time to be completed. I like that they have factored the urgency into the task, but I think somewhere the time to complete needs to be taken into account. I am not sure how that factor would fit into the equation, but it should be taken into account.
