At St. Louis U., dispute over play is becoming an annual event
STLtoday - News - Education: "But for the second year in a row, St. Louis University students held their productions off campus — at nearby Jazz at the Bistro earlier this week. Campus administrators refused to sponsor the play last year, after several years of sponsorship, because they said that doing the same play year after year is redundant and didn't add much new."

This article really frustrates me. While I know the University has the power to make this decision, and theoretically its not censorhsip, I feel like this sets a really bad example for students. It makes the university look like a bad guy and appear not to support forms of artistic student expression. In the future, this could seriously damage the relationship between the administration and the student body. I feel really fortunate to be at a school and in a program that is so supportive of experimentation and breaking convention on the part of the students.
