Actor shows impressive knowledge of 'Life'
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "When it comes to classic Christmas movies, Frank Capra's 'It's a Wonderful Life' is at the top of many viewers' must-see lists. This year, fans of the 1946 black-and-white classic have the option to view it on the home TV screen. Through Dec. 16, Pittsburgh Public Theater is offering 'This Wonderful Life,' a live stage retelling written by Steve Murray."

"Its a Wonderful Life" is a favorite holiday film of many, including myself. I think that the approach that is being taken on this performance is rather intriguing. A lot of people can relate to the performer, and I think that is really important when you are doing something other than what people expect. I was also surprised to see how much the technical aspects got reviewed in this article. The lighting in this show sounds like there are some really effective designs.
missed a "p"
I wonder how well this really works, because to me Its a Wonderful Life was always a movie about community. Yes, George Bailey is an exceptional person who helps all those in need: for the greater good of the COMMUNITY. Its hard to envision a one man show have the power of that final scene where the community comes in to save George.
