League to Implement Final Offer to Stagehands

Backstage: "The League of American Theatres and Producers declared an impasse in their negotiations with the Broadway stagehands and will begin unilaterally implementing portions of their final offer to the union, league executive director Charlotte St. Martin announced Tuesday night."

By increasing the wage, the League's last offers still remain. The league seems to make up its mind to confront this gamble. Perhaps it already has another plan, such as recruit non-union stagehands or the young people just leave the school. In general, money likely can buy everything. Meanwhile, could it be possible someone would leave the Union and go on working on Broadway if he really needs job?
