Erik Sanko's Creepy Puppets Meet the Kronos Quartet by Robert Shuster

village voice: "Imagine the laboratory of a Victorian-age mad genius, and you'd probably come up with something like the Tribeca apartment of impish polymath Erik Sanko."

What I found interesting was the duality of his passions and the way he described the work which he did as some kind of itch that he has to scratch at. To me that was brilliant...also looking at the puppets, I love the creative and creepiness that he puts into these creatures so to speak. I always love seeing the various puppets that are involved in theatre and how much I love the ones which aren't the happy cheery muppets. There truly is an artistry in puppet making

truly an eclectic artist! it is people like this who inspire me to take chances and learn new things. not only is this a creative theatre form but also a collection of original music, visual art, and sculpture . . . in a sense. plus i just love marionettes.
