'Defying Gravity' remembers tragedy, triumph of 'Challenger' shuttle disaster
Tennessean.com: "Christa McAuliffe is a name that will forever be linked with the tragic space shuttle Challenger disaster of 1986. Chosen by NASA to be the first civilian in space, she and six other astronauts died 73 seconds after the Challenger lifted off."

interesting concept for a play. also interesting that they would give it the title from such a popular and successful Broadway musical. in a way i think it degrades the entire idea. however, i do find it an interesting idea. seems like it will tell an interesting story.... i also like that our historical events are being turned into plays and reexamined and offered to us from a different point of view which perhaps we haven't heard.
