Oshkosh Northwestern: "Strange as it seems, Lisa Anderson said her art – bringing a haunted house to life – is actually inspired by comedy."

It's really interesting that she's so involved in every aspect of her production. She's the designer and the actor. It must be quite wonderful to bring your vision to life on that level (even in an atypical medium like the haunted house). I love the idea of putting your own face into a tree. That would certainly scare me.
I feel like theaters across the country should be doing haunted houses as a way to raise some decent money. What about the process of a haunted house could a reasonably sized theatrical company not handle? It seems as though this would also be a good way to attract new members of the community to your particular organization. Just thinking. The lady in this article seemed pretty crazy. In an interesting way of course.
I guess this article makes sense. What draws us to share the same kind of emotions is the fact that we can relate to it. See a bit of ourselves in the action that is going on and though we normally find this to be the case with sad emotions or anger or other common emotions, why not have the same be true for fear. Is it that you fear something because its unfamiliar or because you see a bit of yourself in what you fear or the actions you view which make you fearful.
i love to see multi-talented artists like Lisa. they know how to approach a task from several different angles, because they have to, and due to this it creates a much stronger concept and ties everything together. She really puts herself in the work, and in more then one way.
