Stop Micromanaging!

lifehack.org: "We’re talking about the kind of manager that gives someone a task, a deadline, and then keeps ‘checking up’ to make sure things are moving along. This is micromanagement, and it’s not good."

From what I understand micromanaging is the most annoying form of management to work under. People usually hate their manager if they're constantly micromaanaging. It's like - alright why don't you do everything then! Just like the article said - if you let your delegates do their work and let them make come choices they feel much more invested in the project and will therefore fare a lot more. In the end, leading to a much better product.
