'Ray' to play in Pasadena
Variety.com: "'Ray Charles Live! -- A New Musical,' featuring Charles' music and a book by Suzan-Lori Parks (Daily Variety, Aug. 8, 2005), will be directed by Playhouse a.d. Sheldon Epps."

This is great but again I would hope that as they say, they don't fall into the trap of just lifting the movie out onto the stage. At the same time it's entirely possible that it will do that and be amazing. I'd go to see it.
