Rachel Corrie Has Her Say as New York Premiere of Controversial Play Opens Oct. 15
Playbill News: "Megan Dodds reprises her role in the American premiere of the acclaimed — and controversial — historical solo play My Name Is Rachel Corrie, which opens Oct. 15, after previews from Oct. 5 at Off-Broadway's Minetta Lane Theatre."

I think this show is going to be incredible. First off, Alan Rickman is not only a brilliant actor, but an incredibily intelligent person, so I think he will a great job with this. Secondly, I think that in order to fully understand the crisis in which Corrie faced, we should see the show in what it really is, not in a censored version. The point of art and theatre is not to be censored, the point is to change. Or in some cases, like Tarzan, to just have really cool flying effects.
