These are good rules to live by, but very rarely does my life work in a way that I can devote three hours a day to studying for one exam. Its nice to tell younger people some tips that might help them, but in the long run, we are all still doing the same stupid stuff that our parents did, or our grandparents did, in college. All-nighters are not uncommon. And being sleepy on exam day is good, because at least I know I MADE it to the exam. And that I may be able to complete it. But if those aren't habits that you have formed in high school, I would venture to say that they will be harder to develop once you get to college.

You have to remember that you are not in normal college. I remember the days when I would go to class for 3 hours then back to my dorm for two hours, then lunch, then class, and be done with my classes at 3pm, then maybe on Wednesday nights have chem lab. When I started drama, my friends would study from 6pm-10pm and on saturdays from noon-5pm while I was in rehearsal. Our college experience is not book based. GREAT we learn by doing. If this was not the case we would just read about productions and never mount one. We still have exams, yes. We still study, I hope. But our Drama method of learning, and our lifestyle is not the same as a Social Science major at OSU. But I do find these tips helpful! I love... and truly believe in tip #1.
