BC/EFA Looks Down on TKTS Construction 1
(BroadwayWorld.com): "TKTS, featuring discount tickets to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, has been a New York institution for over three decades. This shot was taken from the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS office. Located only a block away from the previous TKTS Booth in Duffy Square, the TKTS building is expected to be completed by December."

I think it is really great how much the Theatre Industry gives back. Not only with Broadway Cares: Equity FIghts AIDS, but also with things like the Actor's Benefit CDs, i.e. "Hair" and the next one "Best Little Whorehouse". I think that in an industry where many poeple make 7, even 8 digit incomes, it is so great to see so many giving back. The best I have seen was when an entire cast stopped at the end of the bows to support Broadway Cares. Nice.
