I had never heard of this project before I read this article, which made me find the article very interesting. I love the idea that making something new for 100 days will allow people to be creative and artistic every single day for those 100 days, but not have the challenge of having to come up with something to make or draw or figure out what kind of medium to use. As the article mentions, the beautiful thing about this project is that anyone can participate in it. It is not just constrained to professional artists or art students. Adults of any skill level and experience, as well as children, can partake in this project. Something I loved about this project after reading this article was the ability for one person doing this project to inspire so many other people just by posting somewhere about what they are doing. I know that if I was scrolling through Facebook or Instagram and I saw someone post all of their pieces of art I would want to try something like that too because at the end of it you end up with a beautiful collection of pieces that are cohesive in some manner. Accomplishing goals feels great for anyone, and I know that after completing all 100 days of this project I would (and I'm sure many others would as well) feel so satisfied with myself for sticking through with it, and I would have the physical (or digital) work to show it.
